Sewing Room

My sister, Carole who lives in Pennsylvania sent me these lovely potholders for my sewing room. Years ago my grandmother and mother used to make these and hang them in their kitchens. I wanted a set for my sewing room and my sister made them for me in blue. They hang on a miniature rolling pin, I don't even think you can buy those any more. But my sister had a few left and sent me one. I am either going to paint it white or crochet a sleeve for it in white. I will probably crochet before I paint. She also sent me some old thread she had and old buttons.

As soon as my husband makes my shelves I can put all this on display.

My sister's neighbor even sent me some old buttons and look at these vintage embroidery scissors.
