Quilts Quilts and More Quilts
I have a big project in front of me… 10 quilts. I have to make 10 quilts in the next few months. I want to make all my great nieces and nephews quilts. I will do them by families. Heather I know you read my blog.. This is going to be Robbie’s Quilt. I have it started. I have Emma’s cut out and already have fabric for Lily. Then on to Chris’s family then Mike’s. I want everyone to have a quilt made by Aunt Sue. All will be the same pattern( I don’t want any arguments) hahahaha. This is part of the piles I have stacked up in my sewing room that needs to be cleared out. Also I will be using up alot of fabric.

Getting Some Little Projects Finished
Over the past few days I have been trying to finish up some smaller projects. I get an idea in my head and I start pulling fabric out and building a pile on my sewing table. I need to clean up my sewing room, so I thought in stead of putting it away I need to finish these projects.. The stack on my table is getting smaller.
This is what I finished the past week
My weekender bag
Patriotic tea towels for the kitchen.Made some for gifts too.
2 buckets
scissor roll holds 10 pair of scissors or cutters.
Also made a purse to match my weekender bag but I drop my camera when taking some of these pictures and BROKE the camera…. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Bed for Crate
I bought this collapsible crate for Abby when we travel. But it didn’t have a mat/bad. I had some old fleece around and added some batting. Now anice cozy, soft bed. Abby even likes it.
Poor little Abby, I took her to the Vets today.. She has what they call rabies alopecia. When she got her rabies shot a few weeks ago she developed a reaction.
She has a bruise and loosing her hair
They said it should grow back, but it might take a year. She is taking anti inflammatory for 3 days and she is to have heat treatments. She is playing normal, running and jumping. I wouldn’t have noticed it if she didn’t get brushed all the time.

Scissor Holder For Grooming Shears
Paige is my groomer for Abby. She comes to my home and makes our little girl beautiful… I love how Paige cuts Abby and Abby loves Paige. She always behaves for her. Paige also does Emma, Timmi’s Maltese.
Paige has about 12 different shears she uses on dogs. I asked her when she was here on Tuesday if she would like some kind of scissor holder to keep them organized and together. I came up with this . Each one will hold 3 shears. I made them out of double sided quilted fabric. It was easy. just added bias tape. I flipped the sides of the fabric every other layer.
These are my shears. I only have 3 different kinds. Paige is teaching me how to groom Abby myself since she is going back to school.
I am also thinking of some kind of roll up case. Will see what I come up with on that idea.

Pack Rat
I know I am a pack rat. I save everything. But enough is enough,,, lol. I am clearing out stuff I have too. I am running out of room. You know when you open the door to your closet and things fall out… Well I won’t admit to it but I can understand. hahahahaha
I made the following articles. from garbage.. yes I recycle.
Juice pouch bag and a little coin purse, enough room for ID and credit cards or dollars on one side and coins in the pocket.. I made 2 of the blue bags and coin purses and I have almost a red bag one finished.
This I would have make a cool bag but it is heavy. I was going to throw it away but Tim said he could use it in the garage. Yeaaaa it is being put to good use anyways. I don’t drink coffee but Tim does. And it is decaf.
Still in the box are target bags that need to be cut into strips and crocheted into bags. RECYCLE RECYCLE.
Happy Birthday Amy My middle daughter’s Birthday is today..
