When I leave a picture up on the wall I cover it with wrapping paper and make it into a present.
When I am finally done I go thru the house If I see cords sticking out that can't be hid I wrap an empty box as a gift/present and set it in front the the cord. I try my best to hide those ugly little cords. I even set fake presents under the tree.
I really do enjoy Christmas. All that is missing is "SNOW"
We had the boys over night on Saturday. I just LOVE having them . They sure do keep me running but they can put a smile on my face. It is starting to get chilly here in the evenings. We were able to actually have a fire in the fireplace. Well one of those burning logs. It is still very strange for me being in the Houston area during Christmas time. My memories are trying to pick out a live tress in freezing weather, running to and from the car with the heater on. lol .There are many times here in Texas where Tim is putting our outside Christmas lights on the house in shorts. Just doesn't seem right. next week we will be having a heat wave again. When I get a chance to use the fireplace I do. On Christmas we have a real fire even if I have to have the doors open and even the air-conditioner running.
The boys in their blanket sleepers. I know they can only wear these a few times a year but I do love seeing them running thru the house. In the morning they were so cozy Harley didn't want to get dressed. LOL. Look how big they are getting.
My little helpers were here again yesterday. And Did I ever keep them busy. This 4.5 foot tree is in their bedroom. This is my 8 ft. slim tree in my bedroom, fill with shades of gold balls and gold pine cones, and of course bows. I think this is my favorite tree,of course I love laying in bed looking at the lights. YES! I have 2 trees in my bedroom Can you tell I love Christmas! The tired little boys fell right to sleep for their nap. Dylan gets the biggest kick out of helping. He will stand back and say "Now that's a pretty tree." He says it for everyone. I still have more decorating and more trees.
Today is my sister Carole and her husband Al anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY; I LOVE YOU BOTH
